In the
past few years science like the rest of our world
has been gaining knowledge at a record pace. New
advancement in technology is creating methods of
measurement that are more accurate and able to
quantify questions that have remained unanswered for
years.
Two major
scientific disciplines that can best be used to
explain how Tour Lock Pro works is physics, followed
closely by biomechanics.
In physics
we use a term called MOI or Moment of Inertia. This
term is used to describe and objects resistant’s to
twisting around and axis. By precise placement of
the Tour Lock Pro Weighting system in any golf club
the MOI can be tuned to match a player’s personal
swing tendencies dramatically improving distance and
accuracy.
Biomechanics is a relatively new science to enter
the field of golf and from year to year this science
adds significant knowledge to how the mechanics of
the golf swing works and is being applied to help
describe how exactly the system of “feel” effects
performance in the golf swing.
Counter
weighting has been the subject to many tests from
large golf companies over the years, but with the
lack of technology to accurately measure the
improvements golfers were gaining the technology
sadly took a back seat in our industry. Till now
that is.
Tour Lock
Pro has partnered with Flightscope, the most
sophisticated launch monitor in golf, to provide all
of our customers with the most accurate data
possible. |
